about us

The Fundación Amigos Contra el Cáncer Infantil, Inc. was organized by a group of friends who attended the Oncology Unit of the Children´s Hospital, Dr. Robert Reid Cabral. They gave a portion of their time and resources to provide financial and emotional support to children with cancer and their families.

Going to the Hospital to deliver medications only to a group of children who were "sponsored", while others waited anxiously to see their needs met, was the reason for our decision to form this group to raise funds and begin the "Treatment for All" program so that every child with cancer who attends the Children's Hospital can be treated properly with the necessary medicines at their time of need.

We began to work with the fundamental purpose of providing  every children diagnosed with this condition, with a better quality of life. Our mission is to help provide, in coordination with a group of doctors led by Dr. Rosa Nieves Paulino , the urgent needs of better diagnostics, cancer drugs, and general support presented to these children and their families. We are working so that the  Children´s Hospital Dr. Robert Reid Cabral provide a program of the highest quality to the children with cancer of our country.
