FACCI Home
It helps to avoid abandonment of treatment due to lack of resources for transport or stay in the city of the child and their relatives.
It is a home where high-risk children living in the interior of the country or far from the hospital, upon receiving chemotherapy treatment can stay until their immune system responds appropriately and to return home does not represent a danger to their lives
The patient enters Casa FACCI with a companion, who will be responsible for the accompaniment of the patient at all times.
Our work includes providing them with three meals a day, as well as medications and support for treatments indicated by the attending physician, as long as they do not have any medical insurance.
The patient will be able to make use of the games area, cinema room, reading room, music room (in which classes are taught on Tuesdays); the school, where FACCI volunteers teach patients while they are in treatment at the hospital.
