Volunteering of the Friends Against Childhood Cancer Foundation is born from the interest of offering support and companionship to children and their families to face and cope better with treatment.
Volunteer Mission
It should be noted that people who commit to volunteer must do so in a serious and committed way to give this service during a preset schedule according to their availability and needs in different areas and support programs of the foundation.
Goals
- Give experiences of joy to children suffering from cancer.
- Provide special situations different from those that live day to day during the treatment of the disease.
- Bring constant spiritual and emotional support to parents and children without highlighting any denomination or religious congregation.
- Contribute to the schooling of children, encouraging the desire to study and continue their studies when they are suitable for it.
- Offer continuing education to parents on the different aspects of childhood cancer (hygiene, nutrition and patient management).
